I Metallica sono stati nominati nella seconda edizione annuale di “Eventful Fan”, per il “Best Concert Tour Of The Year” del 2009 al Billboard Touring Awards. Il vincitore verrà rivelato il prossimo 5 novembre 2009 al Roosevelt Hotel in New York City.

Al concerto di ieri sera , 14 settembre 2009, che i Metallica hanno tenuto al Sommet Center in Nashville (Tennesse), ha visto la partecipazione sul palco del grande Lemmy Kilmister, leader e fondatore dei Motorhead, che insieme ai “tallica” ha eseguito due classici del suo repertorio : “Damage Case” e “Too Late Too Late” .
